WorkMenu

Microsoft Word has a persistent menu, called Work, that you can add favorite files to. I've created an add-in that does the same thing, and has a few added bells and whistles. I've used it for over two years now, and it has been thoroughly used by me and a select client or two. It's available as a download at:

ftp://ftp.mcgimpsey.com/excel/workmenu1.0.xla

The documentation will come, eventually, but it's pretty easy to see what's happening. When you load the add-in (Tools/Add-ins...) the Work menu will be created. You can add the active workbook using the Add To Work Menu command. You can edit the filename using the Edit List command.
